Regular Offerings

Pottery Open Studio Sessions

Ticket Price: £90 for a 6 week block / £20 drop-in + materials

Tuesdays, 10am - 12pm

Thursdays, 7pm - 9pm (Coming Autumn 2025)

Continue your pottery journey with us as you create in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Open studio sessions are exclusively for those that have completed our beginner’s course or have previous experience of hand building ceramics.

Join us in our light and airy studio to further explore the wonders of clay with the support, advice and expertise of resident ceramicist Sarah Glazier-Hart. Using hand building techniques, explore your creativity and spend time with other potters whilst enjoying cups of tea and yummy cake.

SEND Pottery Mornings

These monthly pottery sessions are exclusively for children with additional needs or hidden disabilities.

Sarah has years of professional and personal experience working creatively with adults and children with additional needs. Join her in her light and airy studio to explore the sensory wonders of clay with Sarah’s gentle support, advice and expertise.

In these sessions there will be plenty of space to explore the tactile and sensory nature of clay. We will use our hands and wooden tools to make pieces that are both fun and functional. The emphasis will be on enjoying the process rather than worrying about outcomes with plenty of time to play.

Class sizes will be kept small (maximum 6) to allow plenty of space to work together.

Home School Clay Club

Ticket Price: £90 for a 6 week block

Wednesdays 10am - 11am, beginning 10th September 2025

Join us here at Wildling Studio as we get creative together in our Home School Clay Club.

These sessions are designed exclusively for mini wildlings, teaching traditional hand skills and encouraging a connection to nature.

During the 6 week course Wildling Studio owner and potter Sarah Glazier-Hart will gently guide you step by step through traditional hand-building techniques. You will learn pinching, coiling and slab-building as well as decoration techniques and glaze application.

Ceramic Strawberry Plate, Bowl & Spoon Set

Thursday 3rd July, 10am - 12.30pm

Celebrate strawberry season with is here at Wildling Studio to make a fun and playful ceramic strawberry plate, cream bowl and a sweet spoon.

Sarah will guide you step by step through the creation of your very own ceramic pieces using traditional hand buildling techniques. Suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced makers,  you will learn slab-building and pinching techniques and have fun with coloured slips.

Ceramic Botanical Plate Workshop

Join resident ceramicist Sarah Glazier-Hart for a relaxed morning here at Wildling Studio.

After a walk to collect spring leaves and grasses, you will learn to create a hand-built set of 2 botanical imprint plates, permanently capturing the beauty of the season in clay. Your plates will be the perfect size for seasonal lunches or slices of cake.

Stained Glass Suncatchers with Emy Mills

Come and spend a calm and relaxed afternoon at Wildling Studio learning an exciting new skill; stained glass!

Emy will guide you through the four stages of creating a stained glass suncatcher using the copper foil technique.

As a beginner, you'll learn the basic skills and techniques of working with clay in a relaxed and supportive environment. Each week I will guide you through a new project, an exploration into hand-building methods such as coiling, pinch pots, and slab building.

Ceramic Mug and Cake Plate Workshop

Saturday 20th September, 1.30pm - 4pm

Ticket Price: £65

Join resident ceramicist Sarah Glazier-Hart for a relaxed afternoon here at Wildling Studio. Learn to create a handbuilt mug and cake plate set.

Sarah will guide you step by step through the creation of your very own ceramic pieces using traditional hand buildling techniques. Suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced makers,  you will learn slab-building techniques, ideas for decoration and refined finishing.

Whether you’re learning a new craft, connecting with the natural world, or digging deep inwardly - leave with an open heart and an open mind.

 

More than anything, I aspire for the studio to be a space, not only to share what I have learnt and love, but one which invites others to do the same. Collaborating with small businesses, local crafts people, artists and makers is at the centre of our work here.
